Berry Fowler began his professional career as a classroom teacher, a master teacher, and a department chairman in the public schools.
In 1979, after spending one year in the research and development of his new educational learning system, Berry founded Sylvan® Learning Centers which he grew from a concept to the nation’s leading provider of supplemental education to school-age children. Since then Sylvan has helped over 4,000,000 students to achieve success.
In 1992, Berry acquired a child development company with 2 locations in the Pacific Northwest and created The Little Gym® International. Since then the company has grown to over 340 franchises operating in the U.S. and 20 foreign countries.
Both companies of Berry’s have been ranked among the Top 100 Best Franchise Companies in the world by Entrepreneur Magazine.
In 2008, Berry began offering Certified Professional Coach courses and quickly became the world’s leader in providing online coach training and certification. Over 10,000 successful graduates are coaching on six continents using Berry’s coaching system. Today, the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching continues to offer the finest in professional life coach training to motivated individuals with a genuine desire to help others.
Throughout his forty-plus year career, Berry has had a passion for entrepreneurship and helping small business owners succeed. Since then, Berry and his team have helped over 12,000 business owners around the world to launch, operate and grow their businesses using his unique results-driven business coaching system.
Berry created the Fowler School of Business and Executive Coaching in 2012 to follow his passion by developing and offering a Master Level Business Coaching Certification course designed to assist motivated and experienced business professionals to provide the finest in results-driven coaching to business owners, executives and their team members. Since then, scores of select individuals have earned their Master Business Coach (MBC) credential in Berry’s elite course.
Berry is the author of the Return from Krypton: Rational Steps to Entrepreneurial Success, a book he wrote specifically for the small business owner.
